Precision Image Calibration

Projection Calibration

Professional calibration of projection systems to industry colour targets, brightness standards, and image quality benchmarks — ensuring your projection performs to its full potential.

Precision calibration for exceptional image quality

Every projection system — regardless of its quality at the point of manufacture — requires professional calibration to perform at its best in your specific environment. Screen reflectance, ambient light, throw distance, lens choice, and projection angle all affect the final image, and only measurement-based calibration can account for all of these variables.

TSS Electrical Resources provides projection calibration services using professional measurement equipment and industry-standard software. We calibrate to DCI, ISF, THX, or bespoke targets depending on the application — producing documentation that records the calibrated state for future reference.

Calibration is not a luxury — it is the step that separates a technically correct installation from one that actually performs to its specification. We carry out calibration as a standard part of every installation we deliver, and offer it as a standalone service for existing projection systems.

What we deliver

01

Luminance Calibration

Measurement and adjustment of projection brightness to match the target specification for your screen size and ambient light environment — DCI, ISF, or custom targets.

02

Colour Temperature & White Point

Precise measurement and correction of colour temperature against D65 or D60 reference points — ensuring neutral tones are reproduced accurately across the full tonal range.

03

Colour Gamut & Saturation

Calibration of colour primaries and saturation against DCI P3 or other target colour spaces — using colourimetric measurements to confirm compliance with specification.

04

Gamma & Tone Mapping

Assessment and adjustment of projector gamma response against the target gamma curve — ensuring correct tonality from shadow detail through to highlight performance.

05

Convergence & Geometry

Optical alignment to correct convergence errors and geometric distortion — particularly important in multi-lens and long-throw configurations where misalignment is most visible.

06

Calibration Documentation

Full measurement documentation produced after calibration — providing a record of the calibrated performance state for reference, insurance, and future re-calibration.
